No Parking's Morten Ranmar talks about how PIXILAB Blocks has become a strategic project enabler for a number of recent projects. No Parking is a an experience design company, based in Copenhagen, Denmark. They specialize in museums, visitor centers as well as the corporate sector, providing expertise in all areas from project conception, storytelling, exhibit and interaction design, video/audio production, 3D/motion graphics, custom software development all the way through final delivery and installation. Blocks provides all the basic functionality for displays, projection, interactivity, sound and lights out of the box. At the same time, its unique, network-centric architecture also supports custom enhancements and development, providing the flexibility needed to meet project challenges.
At the Naturkraft experience center, Blocks controls a lighting system from Grandma, audio and various other system functions based on sensor data, an advanced dome projection using Dataton WATCHOUT and systems power management and scheduling.
The Deutsches Museum in Sønderborg explores the identity of the German minority, born out of the the referendum in 1920. Blocks drives projections, lighting, audio andtouch screens, providing videos and in-depth explorations of this multi-faceted history.
