The place

Located in the citadel of the former fortification of Wesel, this exhibition presents the history of Germany and the Netherlands from the 1800 to the present around the theme of "A river connecting us".

The project

A 300 square meter exhibit space, including media presentations and IT infrastructure. PIXILAB Blocks is used to drive over 75 displays and wide screen projections. Audio, text and additional video is streamed to visitors' smartphones, synchronized to the main presentation areas. DMX512-controlled lighting is also managed based on timecode.

“At a location with no prior IT infrastructure, Blocks allowed us to quickly add multi-media presentations to existing physical exhibits, along with automation of screens, lightning, speakers and projection.”
