The place.

Fotografiska is an international meeting place where everything revolves around photography. Located in the heart of Stockholm, the museum has an exhibition space of 2,500 square meters and several large, creative environments for conferences.

The brief.

Fotografiska wanted a flexible, easy to use, system for managing all their displays, ranging from a large, outdoor LED wall at the entrance to a number of display groups and individual panels throughout the building. The also needed interactive control functions for their event spaces as well as integration with the POS/ticketing system for visitor admission and tracking.

“It’s been a fantastic journey to be part of something that is the future of how you work with displays”.

The delivery.

PIXILAB Blocks plugged right into their existing IT infrastructure, connecting all the displays in a way that allowed them to be easily updated and scheduled.

Custom content can be quickly integrated for special events and temporary exhibitions. Projectors, lighting and display systems in the conference areas were also connected, controlled using iPads/mobile phones. Finally, the POS/ticketing integration was installed, based on the already existing server and network, thus resulting in a very cost effective and reliable overall solution.
