The project

Pulse Middle East embarked on a lighting project to elevate the nighttime appeal of the Royal Towers, Arch, and Turrets at Atlantis, The Palm. The primary objective was to enhance the aesthetic appeal and visual impact of the facade, particularly focusing on the towering structure and the Palm-facing side.

Blocks played an essential role by providing an effective platform for scripting, task management, and scheduling. Its seamless integration facilitated the creation of dynamic lighting sequences, particularly within the arch and triangular structural elements. The software effectively managed neon pixel-controlled LED technology, enabling versatile and adaptive lighting programs tailored to various events.

Challenges

The unique architectural features of Atlantis, The Palm presented significant technical challenges, such as limited mounting spaces and complex facade structures, complicating precise lighting control. Blocks addressed these challenges by simplifying the coordination tasks, using automated scheduling and advanced scripting capabilities to ensure synchronized and accurate lighting effects.

Automated scheduling based on sunset times and an intuitive control panel for scene selection made it easy to manage dynamic lighting for special occasions, enhancing reliability and operational efficiency throughout the project.

” For special events, Blocks makes switching scenes incredibly easy, ensuring the experience is perfect every time.”
