Some of the screens from Samsung is capable to connect to Blocks with its own on board Tizen system. The screen we have tested successful is Model QB43N. It is always vice to ensure the players in mind has the performance required to play back you content. Build in players is in general not as powerful normal personal computer. It may also lack support for some media encoding or support of special file extensions and behave unexpected with som functionality that is available on a standars PC hardware.

Having that said the Tizen 4.0 seem to work as expected with no major drawbacks.

To get things started make sure to have a Blocks server with DHCP and DNS server setup and running.

Connect the tv to server ideally via a wired network. Start up the tv. It is recommended to connect a keyboard to the USB port of the tv as that makes it easier to type in the URI adress later on.
