Google Chrome
Google changed the default behavior of Chrome in April 2018.
The following instruction only apply to Chrome v66 to Chrome v75. To restore automatic (unattended) video playback, change the autoplay policy flag to "No user gesture is required", as shown below.
This setting is accessed by typing the following into the address bar:
chrome://flags
