The place

The Bier Park gives you the history of beer, starting from the ancient Egyptians some 7000 years ago. It is located in Gramado, a small town in Southern Brazil.  It's housed in a 2-storey building with a total area of 1500 square meters.

Beer is the third most popular drink overall after water and tea. At Bier Park you get to know why.

The brief

The project brought a number of unique challenges, including a theater with snow, rain, lightning, smoke and other immersive and thrilling effects.

The project

One room called an immersive experience using moving seats with projection on all four walls.  Other areas used holographic projection, switchable transparent/opaque glass, 3D projection mapping, synchronization across systems, along with the need to automate everything. A key feature of Blocks was that all  programing could be handled by a single laptop, be it on site or remotely, as it's all based on web technology. Blocks also fully automated power control and sequencing of all exhibits.
