Pixilab player release notes
In general there are no benefits to upgrade Pixilab Player in an existing installation already running without issues.
V 5.2
Based on Porteus Kiosk 5.4 Linux kernel 5.15.28 Google Chrome 98.0.4758.102 Updated Pixilab background daemon with additional capabilities and bugfixes. Policies for local video capture and similar features over http is now automatically set inherited from the homepage URL.

Porteus has introduced an experimental flag that enables hardware accelerated video decoding that works well on Intel graphics chipsets.
